"the echoing of tenses" at the 92NY

The 92nd Street Y presents the New York premiere of the echoing of tenses, a large-scale song cycle for tenor, violin, piano/keyboard, and pre-recorded sounds, setting the texts of seven prominent, intergenerational Asian-American poets (Victoria Chang, Cathy Park Hong, Li-Young Lee, Arthur Sze, Ocean Vuong, Jenny Xie, Monica Youn). Presented in collaboration with the 92NY’s Unterberg Poetry Center.

Featuring musicians from the American Modern Opera Company (tenor Paul Appleby, violinist Miranda Cuckson, and pianist Conor Hanick), with live readings by Victoria Chang, Arthur Sze, Jenny Xie, and Monica Youn.

A ticket to stream the concert is available at the 92NY link.
